A simple geometric form with an unexpected twist, these handmade stud earrings are created by twisting square wire to bring movement and texture to an otherwise clean, minimal shape.
I love working with square wire because of the crisp edges and the way it catches the light. The twist changes the character of the metal, creating something that feels sculptural and considered while still being easy to wear every day.
Each pair is made by hand in the Amy Mead studio, so subtle variations in the shape and finish are part of what makes them individual.
