Hammered Chain Necklace

This delicate chain is made from a series of individually formed oval links, each gently hammered to create texture across the surface of the metal.

I love how hammering transforms a simple shape. Rather than creating a perfectly smooth, uniform chain, the tiny variations in the surface catch the light differently as the necklace moves.

The smaller links give this piece a finer, quieter feel than my paperclip chain, while the handmade texture gives it plenty of character when you look more closely.

It's beautiful worn simply on its own, but also works particularly well layered with other chains and pendant necklaces.

Each link is formed and finished by hand, so the subtle irregularities aren't something to hide — they're part of the making process and part of what makes every necklace individual.
